'Sarkar Raj' Script Heads To Oscar Library


Another film has been honoured with the request to place its script in the Academy of Motion Pictures library. The honour
to be part of the prestigious Oscar library has been previously given to Devdas, Kal Ho Na Ho, Lagaan, Lage Raho Munnabhai,
Namastey London and now Sarkar Raj joins the shelves.The film, made by Ram Gopal Verma starred Amitabh Bachchan,son
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The script will be permanently housed in the library and available for students and other filmmakers for reference and
study. The library has a huge collection of not only scripts but also books, photographs, periodicals and manuscripts as
well as musical scores and recordings plus costume sketches, artifacts and oral histories.
