remake of Malayalam movie ‘Katha Parayumbol’.Rajinikanth and Pasupathy are cast in the lead roles. The movie is about two
childhood friends.One grows up to become a successful actor and other a barber who struggles for his livelihood.
What happens when they meet forms the core.The movie also stars Meena who plays the barber' wife and Nayantara who plays
herself.Others in the starcast include Vadivelu, Prabhu, Vijayakumar and Sneha.G V Prakash has scored music for this flick.
